Individual colleges,
schools and departments within the University
of Florida offer scholarships and other assistance
to undergraduate students. Although administered
by the colleges, many of these scholarships are
funded by private individuals and institutions.
In most cases, these awards are given to juniors
and seniors who have been accepted for admission
into particular programs. However, some are designated
for freshmen and/or sophomores.
Most scholarships and
awards included here are awarded based on academic
performance, but some also depend upon financial
need. For information and applications, check
the contact person listed for the college or department
which administers the award.
American Association
of Cost Engineers
Eligibility:
AACE scholarships available to currently
enrolled, full-time undergraduate (second year
standing or higher) and graduate students who
will be enrolled in the next academic year (fall
term) in a degree program related to total cost
management (engineering, construction management,
quantity surveying, etc.); scholarship checks
will be made out to the school for the student's
use and can be applied only towards tuition,
books, supplies, and other academic expenses.
