The Graduate School
of the University of Florida requires both a minimum
grade average of B for all upper-division undergraduate
work and a minimum Verbal + Quantitative total
score of 1000 on the General Test of the Graduate
Record Examination (GRE). All international students
seeking admission to the Graduate School are required
to submit satisfactory scores on the GRE general
test and a score of at least 550 on the TOEFL
(Test of English as a Foreign Language).
Three (3) letters of recommendation are required and should be
submitted online with your adm. application or directly to the
department. Initial
deadlines for receipt of all application materials
(including GRE scores) is October 15 for the spring
semester, March 15 for the fall semester and March
1 for the summer semester.
Please note that the
degree offered is in Building Construction. Limited
financial aid is available to both international
and domestic students but only to those currently
enrolled in the program (we do not offer financial
aid prior to enrollment). In general, interested
graduate students compete for graduate teaching
and research assistantships during their first
semester of enrollment.
