The University of Florida effective Fall 1999 is
offering an accessible Bachelor of Science program for members of the fire
and emergency services. The program does not require that the student
spend time on the University's Gainesville campus. The first two
years of the program can be taken at a Florida community college.
The last two years are taken via the Internet at the student's home or
work place. Students will be eligible for financial aid and students
will have the flexibility to take as many courses as they can complete
per term.
The fire and emergency services will continue to
need leaders. Women and men who are prepared to lead their organizations
into the 21st century. If you want to be one of those, you must prepare
by obtaining the appropriate academic credential.
