EDUCATION: Ph.D. Architecture, 1998, University of Florida; M.S. Building Construction, 1993, Florida A&M University; BS, 1992, Engineering Technology

SPECIAL FIELDS: Specialization in distributed generating power plants, MEP, and utility systems; research interests in collective threat assessment, protection and recovery of critical infrastructure and high value domestic targets from chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive-incendiary (CBRNE) events. Consulting and contracting interests in private construction and development projects, financial feasibility and analyses and construction accounting; environmentally sustainable design and construction; energy and water resources.

EMPLOYERS: Tradesman, superintendent, project manager for several residential, commercial, industrial, and defense interests. Applied Research Associates (1992), Department of Defense (1995), Gainesville Regional Utilities (1999), University of Florida (2000).

PUBLICATIONS: Over 30 articles, abstracts, and presentations.
