South Florida Gator BCN Club held a dinner social and LEED seminar on
October 9, 2007. Dr. Charles Kibert was the featured speaker and gave
everyone an excellent synopsis of what LEED is and a perspective on
how strongly the LEED movement is progressing. The event was very well
attended with over 75 BCN alumni present. Hughes Catering, a private
facility in Wilton Manors, was rented out and catered for the event.
Everyone had a great time catching up with fellow BCN alumni and learning more about LEED. The costs for the event were underwritten by Stiles Corporation, Cummings Construction and Reilly Roche. Dr. Kibert volunteered his time to speak. We are all looking forward to the next South Florida social event which is targeted for February at a Miami-Dade county location. Sponsors are welcome.
